I am taking a much needed break from work over Easter and in order to avoid the dreaded burn-out, I have been instructed to find some ways to relax and recharge over my break. Not something I'm very good at. Especially now with 3 very active little boys.... how am I supposed to find time for me? So like the dutiful employee, I am making a list (can't keep the accountant out of this girl - even on holiday!) of what I can try and do over this next almost-2 weeks. Still trying to think of ideas so if anybody has any more suggestions I'd love to hear them!
Here's my list so far (including some suggestions already received from friends)
- learn to crotchet (would love to do this - there are soooo many gorgeous baby things I'd love to make!
- paint some more mural on the kids bedroom walls
- Shopping at DFO
- Facial / massage / hair colour
- read a book in a peaceful, child-free place
- catchup or movie night with my sister (missing the sisters who are currently overseas)
- catch up on my general scrapbooking (I have kept up pretty well with my Project 365 stuff but general life scrapbooking has suffered for it)
So there's my list... which I will probably add to and will probably not have time to finish.... but hoping to at least attempt or start most of these... But let me know - how do you relax? What recharges your batteries?

Reading or watching a movie is relaxing for me, but sometimes I need to be more active so gardening or mowing works. Not because I particularly enjoy them but because they require no thought and you see results at the end which always makes me feel good. Wendy
