Adventures in New Zealand - Day 1

We are back from our trip to New Zealand! For those who didn't know it was Geoff's brother Andy's 21st birthday last week so the whole family went to New Zealand for a week to do crazy adrenaline things to celebrate. It was a very action packed and not at all restful holiday but we had a lot of fun. With such beautiful scenery & so many adventure moments there are a lot of photos and I found it hard to narrow them down so I'm going to post them here 1 day worth at a time.

So - day 1 in Queenstown. First - some amazing sights on the drive.

Then we were scheduled to do hang-gliding but the wind was all wrong. We did however get to see a little bit of snow! The boys had fun on the chair lift.... Levi tasted some snow and wasn't very impressed.... Finn thought it was hilarious.

Andy took advantage of the amazing backdrop to create this amazing looking jump under Geoff's artistic direction.

Then, because the hang-gliding was rescheduled for later in the week, Geoff and Nathanael did their bungee jumps instead. Geoff being the insane adrenaline junkie that he is decided to jump off backwards cause heaven knows bungee jumping off a really really high bridge over a river forwards is just not scary enough. He did a perfect backwards swan dive & ended up chest deep in the freezing water.

He ended up very wet & cold and looking very pleased with himself.

And there you have the highlights of Queenstown day 1!
