its a busy busy life...

Life has suddenly become veeeerrrrry busy... For some time now I have been doing temp work at the school where Geoff works - just a few days here and there whenever they need me. I have just done 2 week-long jobs for them and then through one of the ladies who works there, I was recommended for another job doing the books & running the office for a local company selling second-hand toys. So I will be working there two days per week and taking the boys with me until Geoff is on holidays and can stay home with them. The boys love spending the day in a house full of toys and there is always something new for them to play with.

So I have done my first two days work there and then my new boss turns and says to me "are you looking for another client?" .... well...... yes! She has a friend who lives one suburb over from me and runs a three-part business and she needs a bookkeeper and I can work from home! Yes Please! So I am going to meet her on Monday and work out the arrangements. Yay! So that gives me three clients now and two of them I can do from home. Plus I will keep doing temp work for the school whenever they need it.... and.... I have had several customers lately for baby announcement cards. I would love to make a living out of that sort of thing one day. But for now I am happy to dabble whenever I get the chance. You can see the announcement cards I created on my design blog: www.lizmacdigitaldesigns.blogspot.com but here is a sneak peek of some of the photos I took last week when I went to visit the beautiful baby Charlotte (& I couldn't resist taking a few pics of her cousin Harley who happens to be my nephew and is incredibly, irresistably cute).

and the gorgeous Harley:

he always has such an inquisitive look on his face - like he's trying to figure out what on earth we're doing.... hehehe.... sooooo cute! Don't you just want to squish him up in a cuddle?

They are great photos Liz! I didn't know you were doing this but you certainly are gifted!

Maybe I can employ your services to take pics of my newborn in April!?!
